Own or manage an LGBT club?
The Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism continually looks for LGBT bars and clubs in select cities to partner with on our annual Palm Springs Summer Splash Cocktail Challenge.
Our unique, turnkey club promotion is presented to club owners and managers as a way to increase their business by promoting Palm Springs, California as a prime LGBT travel destination. Each club receives a “toolkit” to implement the event, making it easy and profitable to participate. In turn, the club offers its venue for local bartenders to compete against each other, creating the best Palm Springs signature cocktail. The winner is brought to Palm Springs for the finale!

Rules
Bartenders must create their Palm Springs Signature Cocktail for a panel of impartial judges, comprised of local personalities and business owners invited by the host clubs in select cities, as well as sponsors of the Cocktail Challenge the Bureau has secured.
Bartenders are judged on the quality and taste of the Signature Cocktail they make, the creativity of their Personal Appearance, and their Performance/Presentation. Extra points are given when the name of their Signature Cocktail contains the words “palm” or “springs.”
Exact recipe(s) must be provided to the judges’ panel prior to tasting. Contestant must provide a minimum of 5 copies of each recipe to the judges.
